a5c7b9f00b Texas Ranger Cordell Walker, one of the last old-fashioned heroes of the West, is a protective friend but a relentless foe who will stop at nothing to bring a criminal to justice. Walker works on instinct, often drawing on the traditions of his Native American ancestors. His partner, James Trivette, has a more modern approach to crime-solving. C.D. Parker, a retired Ranger, and Alex Cahill, the county assistant district attorney who shares a mutual attraction with Walker, support the Rangers in their battle to serve justice.
Walker, a martial artist, and his partner Trivette are Texas Rangers. They make it their business to battle crime in Dallas and all around the State of Texas.
I'll Tell you right now, it was a "Sad Day" in the TV Industry, when WTR was canceled. I've seen every show, and most of them multiple times. The Values, Morals and Faith emphasized in this Series was so refreshing, compared to the Abusive, Vulgar, and Self Seeking Shows that capture the Majority of TV in the world we live in today. This Show exhibited the Realities of what many of our Youth are faced with today, in their everyday lives, and helped them to realize that "Poor Choices" in Life, bring bad Consequences,a result. It hit upon real issues like Drugs, Sex outside of Marriage, Gangs, Lack of respect to Authority, Easy Money, Booze, Temptation, Selfishness, Compassion for others, Love of Family and a host of other topics, that our Youth of today, need to hear. I will really miss this Series, but will continue to watch the Reruns, and will buy the DVDs for Season 9, when they are released on June 14th, 2005. Thanks Chuck, and all the Cast.
